“Training those who serve”
How can the LEAD Institute help you thrive?
Many nonprofit leaders have little to no business background, yet are running a small business. The LEAD Institute is here to teach you the business best practices you need to survive in today’s environment.
To overcome this challenge, capability training is provided in four areas:
The best intentions and hard work alone won’t help your organization reach its potential. You also need the business tools and fundraising principles that form the bedrock of any successful non-profit. LEAD Institute’s 10-month executive training course will equip you with them.
New nonprofits learn how to form a board of directors; incorporate the best business practices; manage volunteers and hone a cogent, effective presentation that drives fundraising
Seasoned executives whose ministries’ growth has slowed or leveled off gain insights into how to refocus their energies and take on new opportunities
Learn with Peers
You will be with the same group of executives for ten months, learning from each other as well as from the expert trainers.
Real World Practice Experiences
You will learn how to impress donors with the worthiness of your cause and your organization’s ability to set and achieve goals. At the end of the training, you’ll make your presentation to a panel of philanthropic executives who hear hundreds of real-world presentations every year. The feedback you receive will help you restructure your talk to get the best results.
You will have an opportunity to practice your ‘ask’ one on one with experienced donors who will then give you ‘customer’ feedback on your message.
Business advice, one-on-one.
To augment our expert instructors, you’ll also be assigned a dedicated mentor to guide you every step of the way. This personalizes the curriculum to fit your specific goals and challenges.
You provide the vision and focus. We provide the tools for success.
