Saving Susan takes the model of connecting Atlantans with orphans in the third world a step further with video calling and social media. Supporters not only provide financial support for education and living expenses, but also have regular video calls for face to face interaction with the child, as well as contact through Facebook. They currently support two orphanages in Cambodia and one in Guatemala.
Sarah Green, Ministry Coordinator, came to LEAD to build on her degree in Marketing with training in nonprofit specific issues.
“I find the program so well tailored and practical. The classes always hit on what we’re trying to accomplish. The two page ministry resume really does pay for the course! It has given our fundraising focus, and allows us to have better, more fruitful conversations with donors.” said Sarah.
“My coach Scott is endlessly kind and eager to help. He is very clearly talented and has phenomenal sales ideas” added Sarah.
